The finalists and competition winners will be selected by a panel of academics and experienced development professionals. Winners of the competition get the opportunity to:
• Present/pitch their ideas and participate in the event Ecology of the Big City, Saint Petersburg, March 2020
• Benefit from unique networking opportunities with experts
• Turn their project into a real business
-> get the support to develop the business idea further in the accelerator programme offered by the project
Registration and Submission
Eligibility: Students and young professionals from the project programme area are invited participate.
Team Registration: Teams must consist mainly of two to five members and may be formed across institutions, countries, nationalities, etc. All teams should register to receive updates leading up to the competition deadline.

The program is completely free and arranged specifically for the BBC cross-border competition winners. The BBC Accelerator programme is focused on subjects such as team-building, product development and funding, customer validation and customer acquisition, sales, marketing and branding and other topics that are fundamental in the earliest stages of a start up.
