Project events moved forward due the global corona virus situation
The epidemic caused by the new coronavirus COVID-19, which began in China, has spread to different parts of the world. The World Health Organization (WHO) declared the situation a pandemic on 12 March 2020.
The situation is changing on daily basis and it is hard to predict when we are able to go back to normal project implementation, including planned events. Face-to face actions are at the moment limited or prohibited in offices and classrooms.
Business in Biotechnology and Circular Economy –project was going to organize and participate in many events, gatherings and happenings in Ecology of Big City Forum during 18.-20.3.2020 in Saint Petersburg, such as a Project stand, seminars, match-making for Finnish and Russian companies and the international cross-border idea competition final. Due to the global corona virus epidemia the Forum has been cancelled and postponed to the autumn 2020.
As a lot of hard work has been done to prepare all the planned project events, we take this unfortunate situation as a possibility to improve our plans and implement them even better when the situation will stabilize.
