Nanopar Ltd is a Finnish cleantech company, that has a sustainable and profitable solution for drying and processing sewage sludge. The Paskier®Process is compact, affordable, and designed to be used on-site which provides substantial savings on the sludge transport cost. The dried sludge can be produced into recycled soil improvers and fertilizers. The fertilizers have yielded parallel results as chemical fertilizers and they have approval from the Finnish Food Authority.

Eco WWS Ltd is a young Finnish company that develops an innovation in sludge dewatering and nutrient recycling based on two technologies; combination of ultrasound and electro kinetics. Our technology brings savings in sludge management, especially for the pulp and paper industry, but also for municipal and food industry wastewater treatment plants.

In addition to savings in transportation and port fees, Eco Pro technology brings several other benefits:

  • The calorific value of sludge increases
  • The increase in the dry matter content of the sludge enables new recovery and nutrient recycling sites
  • Wastewater treatment plant capacity increases (no unnecessary internal circulation)
  • In the nutrient-poor wastewater of the forest industry, treated sludge / dryer reject water can be used as a nutrient source (nutrients in soluble form)
  • Reduction of chemical consumption
  • Nitrogen removal becomes more efficient, potentially avoiding significant investments
  • Hygiene is more efficient
  • Energy production from biogas plants will become more efficient
  • Heavy metal removal becomes more efficient

Eco WWS has filed a patent application for Eco Pro technology.
