On June 17, “Sojuzpetrostroy” organized the first scientific and practical conference “Ecology and construction: from theory to practice”. In the conference dedicated to the problematic issues of environmental protection arising in the course of industrial and civil construction, relevant both for the construction complex and for residents of St. Petersburg.
The conference was attended by authorities of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, including: the Government of the Leningrad region, the Committee for Construction and Architecture of St. Petersburg, the State Unitary Enterprise “Vodokanal of St. Petersburg”, the Committee on Roads of the Leningrad Region, St. Petersburg State Public Institution Directorate of Transport Construction ”. The construction complex and leading universities of St. Petersburg presented their reports.
The partner of BBC1 project – representativeof NP AsEP attended the event and participated in discussions on circular economy, including: “Separate waste collection is a prerequisite for the construction and commissioning of facilities” and “Problems of utilization and recycling of construction waste “. As a result, it was proposed to consider the need to regulate construction waste management in St. Petersburg, and to develop and implement requirements for solid waste collection containers in property design, taking into account the organization of separate collection.
